The general purpose of this letter is to not only introduce our company by giving a brief history, but to also list our work qualifications. Our company is located on the East Coast of Florida in the beautiful city of Melbourne. With more than thirty years of experience, we specialize in finding solutions for things that have been deemed "not able to be done". Our main function is to design and build custom software solutions for companies. Much of the work can be accomplished at our company's location, which requires us to normally only be "on site" for meetings and any testing that maybe required. Bristor Associates is able to accomplish this task by having a variety of computers and operating systems at our disposal such as Compaq's ALPHA's and VAX's, various PC's using the Windows 95/98/NT, UNIX, or OpenVMS operating systems. We also have the ability to transfer files to our customer's systems via the Internet or by telephone dial-in if necessary. One function of our company is to provide independent contracting and consulting to a variety of companies. Some of the services that we provide include designing, developing, and testing device drivers and operating system tools that are necessary for performance evaluation. We have also done considerable software development to include various diagnostics tools for down loading, application emulation, and utilities necessary for crash dump analysis. These are just a few of the many services that have our company has provided for companies such as Northrop Grumman, STI, DBA Inc., Harris, and Logicon.
